Our workers are done with the house, only the deck needs to be finished. We are super
happy with the outcome of the exterior insulation with the douglas wood on  top. They do have douglas growing sustainably in France. Below my future office:

Notre artisan principal et le dernier sur le chantier n’a plus que la terrasse extérieure à faire. Nous sommes ravis du rendu de l’isolation par l’extérieur avec le bardage en douglas. Bois local.

Olivier

Olivier did not have much time in the garden but the hay slowly decomposing is nourishing the soil. 74 young plants now in and hidden in the thick hay. The orchad is shaping up with figs already showing up!
Le potager fut un peu délaissé mais la beauté du foin se décomposant nourrit le sol et Olivier vient d'y planter tomates et autres en nombre. Les premières figues apparaissent déjà!

I was away for a week but the goats are getting more and more friendly, good times coming back home.
Absente une semaine les biquettes sont de plus en plus curieuses et familières. Un plaisir de les retrouver.
