"We've come a long long way together..."

"Before" and "after" pictures of the previous post give a good idea of the amount of work we put in the renovation, but a few "during" photos tell even more, of course you don't see the dust, pain, tears and laughs!

Les dernières photos "avant" et "après" donnent une bonne idée de notre rénovation, mais quelques photos "pendant" en disent encore plus! Bien sûr c'est sans la poussière, les muscles fatigués, les pleurs et les rires!

It took us a while to realize we could not keep any of the old walls... We demolished them one at a time...
Il nous a fallu un bon moment pour nous rendre compte que nous ne pourrions garder aucun des murs... démolis un par un...

The hallway.... when we arrive one morning for removing the rubble from the mezzanine that a mason took down, we had lots of tears... The house looked like a war zone with 22 tons of rubble.

Le couloir... quand nous sommes arrivés un matin après la démolition de la mezzanine par un maçon, nous avions les larmes aux yeux. On se serait cru sur un champ de guerre avec 22 tonnes de gravats à enlever...
